Been having trouble signing in to this account. My fault. I forgot which password I used and finally went and changed it. I am sort of slow that way. What have I been up to? School, work and reviews. Lots of book and comic reviews. I just got done with Scud: The Disposable Assasin: The Whole Shebang and am starting on the latest Lock and Key story arc by Joe Hill. I also picked up his book, Horns, in celebration of passing my first mid-term exam (working on the second mid-term exam now) with a 98. Go me! Now I just got to finish reading a bunch of books and I should be good to go. Some of the books I am reading for the upcoming reviews: The Even by T.A. Moore (dark fantasy), Through Stone and Sea: a Novel of the Noble Dead by Barb & J.C. Hendee (first time trying this series...fantasy), and the latest release from two series I follow. Those are Dead Matter: A Simon Canderous novel (urban fantasy) by Anton Strout and Roadkill: A Cal Leandros novel by Rob Thurman (urban fantasy). The latter is like my favorite TV series (currently) Supernatural. About two brothers who have no choice but to battle it out with the more powerful nasties out there. Love the sarcasm of the one brother and the other brother is made of awesome. The covers are cool too. Yes, I am one of those who would buy a book based on covers alone. I kept doing that with Yasmine Galenorn's Otherworld series much to my embarrassment. I just thought the covers were too cool to resist. Unfortunately, the series itself is a bit hit and miss with me depending on the novel we are talking of. Each book is told from one of three sister's viewpoints and are switched out with each release. I think the vampire sister is probably my favorite while the witch is my least favorite. She is a bit too..."Mary Sue" for my tastes.

Okay, I am rambling so I am off to finish my exam. Will post more once this is done as I have to catch up on x-posting reviews.

My first post here. It is still a bare bone site as I just confirmed my e-mail and still creating the profile section. But figured I would go ahead and break it in by posting. I am still trying to decide what to do with this blog. Whether I will do a mirror blog from my livejournal like I use my other blogs or do something seperate. I am almost tempted to do something different to see what springs out of it. Maybe an art journal as I am trying to get back into practice with sketching and pencil work. Or a study journal for the various studying I am doing. Or more likely a mix of that and a book review or three.
